Our intimate accommodations include three deluxe, large bedrooms with scenic views and a wonderful six-jet Jacuzzi bathtub. Our comfortable beds all have new mattresses, pillows and linens and soft cotton blankets and comforters. The bedrooms are decorated in sage and beige to blend with the scenic views from each bay window.

Indoors, there is a Yoga library and a large oak-floor yoga or meeting room with French doors and brass statues and batiks of Hindu deities. The very cozy living room, with a fireplace, and the spacious dining area are decorated with touches of Egyptian art. The luxurious house is comfortably heated by propane or cooled by air conditioning.

The house has a roofed patio for outdoor breakfast, several seating areas with luxurious lawn furniture, and a screened-in canopy pagoda for relaxing outdoors in the shade. There is a stone medicine wheel, an arbor of blue spruce trees with curved concrete benches, two meditation nooks with benches high on the hill for star gazing, and a direct view of sacred Sugarloaf Mountain.

The site is perfect for group or spiritual retreat rental as it sleeps ten guests comfortably and the grounds are serene. Johanna Mosca, the yogi-owner in residence, maintains a lovely home setting. Having resided in the Sedona-Verde Valley area for twenty years, Johanna can refer you to all of the best restaurants and places of interest and a great number of gifted healers, intuitives and bodyworkers to enhance your journey. Viewing available by appointment.

Guest Comments:

Johanna is super organized and prepared our Contentment "nest" beautifully. The place is immaculate, with sacred touches everywhere. Our group of 11 was the first group she has had there, and we had a beautiful experience. Very quiet, peaceful, and close enough to Sedona's sacred energy and hikes. Roy Holman, Yoga Retreat Leader

As for Contentment Lodge, I really liked it.  I would rather stay in a lodge than in hotel rooms.  I liked sleeping there, and I liked that the place was sort of isolated and that we could hear coyotes.  Cornville and Harry's Hideaway are cool.  I give Contentment Lodge two thumbs up.  Elaine Schuler, a guest in Roy's retreat.

Beginning and ending the day at the Contentment Lodge was like waking up and returning to the comforts of home. I received exactly what I needed during my stay, am working to continue the lessons learned and maintain the peace I achieved in Sedona until my next visit.  Juliette Blount, Nurse from NYC
